Cop crushed under bus in Savar

SAVAR: A policeman was crushed under a bus on Dhaka-Aricha highway near Aminbazar of Savar upazila on the outskirts of the capital on Monday night, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Sabur Miah, 50, a habildar of Dhaka Police Lines.
S M Kamruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Savar Model Police Station, said the bus hit Sabur while he was performing his duty in the area around 12am, leaving him critically injured. 
Later, he was taken to Enam Medical College Hospital where doctor declared him dead.
