2 kidnappers held, victim rescued

Khilgaon police in a special drive on Monday night arrested two members of a kidnapping gang and rescued a victim from their den.
"The kidnappers abducted Sonia Begum from Shantipur area in Khilgaon and demanded ransom from her relatives for her release”. 
Tipped off, police raided the area at around 9.30pm and managed to rescue the victim and detain two abductors Md Sagor, 27, and Md Selim, 30, said officer in-charge of Khilgaon Police Station Qazi Moinul Islam, reports BSS.
According to the police, the arrestees were active members of a kidnapping gang and used to demand ransom after abductingchildren and women from different areas in the capital.
A case was filed with the local police in this regard.
