Four BCL men land in jail

Chuadanga: A court here on Sunday sent four local activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) to jail in a case filed for killing their party fellow Hanifur Rahman Bhulu last year, reports UNB.
The accused are Shawon, Sajib, Mohammad Ali and Sarafat.Judge of Chuadanga Sadar cognisance court Abdul Hailm passed the order after the four accused surrendered before the court seeking bail.
 On March 12 last, a gang of miscreants, numbering 5/6, stabbed two people, including Bhulu, on the Ferry Ghat Road while they were returning home from Boro Bazar in Sadar upazila.
 They were taken to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital where Bhulu succumbed to his injuries. On March 13, victim’s mother Safia Khatun filed a case against 10 BCL activists with Sadar Police Station.
