‘Criminal’ held with gun in Jessore

Police arrested an alleged criminal along with a one-shooter gun and one round of bullet from Churamonkati Bazar in Sadar upazila on Sunday night. The arrestee was identified as Tariqul Islam.
Moklesuzzaman, sub-inspector of Kotwali Police Station, said tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested Tariqul at about 9.00pm.
The law enforcers also recovered a one-shooter gun and one round of bullet from his possession.A case was filed in this connection.
