Aarong, Saifurs Coaching Centre fined in drive

The Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) yesterday fined Tk 2.5 lakh against Aarong and Saifurs Coaching Centre for running their businesses illegally in residential areas at Lalmatia in the capital.
RAJUK executive magistrate (Zone 5) Nasir Uddin has conducted the eviction drive in the areas.
He fined Tk 50,000 against Aarong of holding number 1/1 in Lalmatia to run their business without adequate parking.
The magistrate also fined Tk two lakh against Saifurs Coaching Centre for running their commercial business in residential areas illegally. He ordered to relocate their business within seven days. Five shops and one restaurant were evicted in Lalmatias Block-A during the drive. Bhubon Fashion House, Nabo Choa Fashion, Kaka Shoe Store, Sumona Boutique and Jewellery, Shawon Pearl House and Jewellry and Food Lover Restaurant were evicted from holding number 1/2 to operate their business illegally in residential building.
Besides, the RAJUK team also demolished a car show room from holding number 1/5 to run their business illegally.
The RAJUK authority has made a schedule to start eviction drive in residential areas at Gulshan, Banani and Baridhara R/A (Zone-4) on January 10, 17, 24 and 30, at Uttara R/A (Zone-2) on January 8, 15, 22 and 26, at Dhanmondi and Lalmatia R/A (Zone-5) on January 9, 16, 23 and 29 and at Mirpur, Mohammadpur and Pallabi (Zone-3) on January 11, 18, 25 and 31.
