Spurned, youth stabs college girl in Sylhet

A college girl was stabbed allegedly by her ‘boyfriend’ at Kaliganj Bazar in Zakiganj upazila of Sylhet yesterday following the refusal of his marriage proposal, reports UNB.  The victim was identified as Jhuma Begum Suma, 19, a student of Ichhamati Degree College and a resident of Rasulpur village in the upazila.  Additional police super (media) of Sylhet Sugan Chakma said Bahar, a student of the same college and son of Abdul Gafur Prochon of Rasulpur village, had an affair with Suma for long.
