Juba League leader held

Joypurhat: Detectives in a drive arrested a former Juba League leader along with a packet of heroin from in front of Awami League office at Gopinathpur Bazar of Akkelpur upazila on Saturday evening, reports UNB. The arrestee was identified as Koresh Chandra Gosh, 36, former vice president of Gopinathpur union Juba League. Tarek Hossain, sub-inspector of the Detective Branch (DB) of Joypurhat police, said a team of the detectives conducted a drive in the area in the evening and arrested Koresh along with the heroin. A case was filed in this connection.
