UNO’s phone number cloned to get money

Unidentified miscreants reportedly demanded money from all the union parishad (UP) chairmen in Sharsha upazila of Jesssore district, cloning the mobile phone number of upazila nirbahi officer (UNO), reports UNB. Upazila administration sources said the miscreants made phone calls to the chairmen after cloning the UNO’s cell number and asked them to send TK 5,000 to a Bikash number, assuring them of providing allocations under test relief and food for work programmes. Informed, UNO Abdus Salam asked all concerned to be cautious.
