Banks in RMG hubs to remain open July 15

Branches of scheduled commercial banks dealing with readymade garment industry will remain open on July 15 to facilitate payment of salaries and festival bonus of the RMG employees, reports UNB.
A circular of Bangladesh Bank said it is being advised that the commercial bank branches in Dhaka city, Ashulia, Tongi, Gazipur, Savar, Narayanganj and Chittagong concerned with readymade garment industries should stay open on July 15 for the sake of payment of salaries and bonus to the employees.
