Mehazabein, Riaz act together once again

Three-time National Film Award-winning actor Riaz and prominent model-actress of the recent time Mehazabein Chowdhury, who acted in a tele-drama for the first time last year, have acted together once again. This time around, the duo has acted in a tele-drama titled ‘Kan Pete Roi’, which has been written and directed by Matia Banu Shaku. The shooting of the tele-drama was completed yesterday at a shooting house in the capital’s Uttara area.
In the story of the tele-drama, Zara is a physically-challenged girl. But with her talent, she overcomes the obstacle of doing any work. She works as an RJ at a radio station. On the other hand, Farhan is a young man who returns to the country from abroad. He had a relationship with a foreign girl, but they didn’t get married finally. Farhan likes the voice of Zara on the radio, and wants to be by her side. But Zara avoids Farhan. Receiving bold reactions from Zara, Farhan gets fascinated with her personality. The story moves forward.
Riaz said about working in the tele-drama, “I have worked under the direction of Matia Banu Shaku for the first time. She works in an organised way. In one word, the script is outstanding, and I have acted in a romantic story after a long time. Besides, Mehazabein has become more skillful than her early days. We have really enjoyed the work.” Mehazabein said, “Actor Riaz is a very brilliant person and a highly qualified artiste. But while working together, he was very supportive to me and didn’t give me a chance to feel that I am working with a big artiste like him. Though I worked in the script of Matia Banu Shaku earlier, now I have worked under her direction for the first time. She works very sincerely, step by step. I am very optimistic with the work.” Matia Banu informed that the tele-drama is set to be aired on ATN Bangla at 10:55pm on January 19.
