Independent TV lift BSJA Media Cup soccer title

Biplob struck the lone goal in the final to steer the Independent Television to emerge champions in the Kool BSJA Media Cup Football Tournament. 

Held at the artificial ground of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), Independent Television blanked the Boishakhi Television by a solitary goal in the final to lift the trophy of the tournament organised by the Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA). 
The Independent TV on their way to final, defeated Dhaka Tribune by 4-3 in tie-breaker after the schedule 30 minutes time ended on goalless draw.
Biplob, the match winner of the final, was adjudged man of the final.
Jahiduzzaman of Boishakhi Television won Al Musabbir Sadi man of the tournament award while Masud Ahmed Rumi Fair Play award went to Daily Bonik Barta. 
Malik Mohammed Sayeed, head of marketing of the Square Toiletries Limited, distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Jewel Rana, former national football team captain, Jesmin Zaman, senior marketing manager of the Square Toiletries Limited, Jalal Ahmed Chowdhury, former general secretary of the BSJA, Abu Nayeem Shohag, general secretary of the BFF, Paul Smally, the strategic director of the BFF were present as special guests.
BSJA acting president, Aghore Mondal, general secretary Raihan Mughni, treasurer, Anisur Rahman also attended the prize giving ceremony.
