No corruption will remain in judiciary: Chief Justice

Chief Justice Surndra Kumar Sinha yesterday said that no corruption will remain in judiciary.
“I believe that there is no scope of corruption in Narayanganj court,” he said while meeting the judges at judge’s auditorium in Narayanganj court as the chief guest.
The meeting was presided over by district and session Judge Syed Enayet Hossain, among others all judges, Deputy Commissioner of Narayanganj Md Anisur Rahman Mia, Superintendent of police Dr Khandaker Mahiduddin and Civil Surgeon were present.
The Chief Justice also said the number of cases with Narayanganj court were not more than those of other districts.
The rate of case disposing is also satisfactory. There have a good relation between the administration and the judiciary.
Early in the day, the chief judge came to Narayanganj court at around 8am and inspected all courts performance and expressed his satisfaction.
He also visited a newly under construction judges court building at Shayesta Khan road in the city.
As directive speech, the chief justice requested the civil surgeon not to make any delay in submitting medical reports.
In his speech, the police super said there is a record of almost 400 cases in a month of which fifty per cent are narcotics
related.
Besides, he told the superintendent of police to take special care while a plaintiff wants to file a case.
He directed judges to pay the more time in court operation and also to try listening the plaintiff in each case carefully.
Deputy Commissioner Md Anisur Rahman Mia said, “I am very pleased by the visit of the chief justice. I also desire he will come here once in every month.”
Narayanganj Lawyer Association President Advocate Shakhawat Hossain Khan said that they have put some allegations to the chief justice
against some judges’ irregularities.
