Youth held with arms in Natore

NATORE: Detective Branch (DB) of Police arrested a youth with firearm and ammunitions from Nasiyarkandi area under Singra upazila of the district on Sunday midnight, reports BSS.
The arrested was identified as Md Alal, 28, son of Anukul Sarker of Nasiyarkandi village under Singra Thana.Officer-in-Charge (OC) of DB Police Abdul Hai said acting on secret information, a team of DB Police conducted a drive in the convicted house around 2.30am and arrested him with a foreign made pistol and magazine and three round bullets.Sources with the police said the arrested was sent to jail yesterday morning.
