First-ever tea expo begins in Dhaka Thursday

A three-day exposition titled 'Tea Expo-2017' will begin at the International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB) on Thursday.

The expo will have 30 pavi-lions and 16 stalls, the organisers said mentioning that the visitors will have an opportunity to experience the heritage of Bangladeshi tea in the first-ever expo. 
Bangladeshi Tea Board will arrange the expo with support of City Group, Dancan Brothers Bangladesh Limited, Finley Tea, HRC, Ispahani and Seylon Tea.
G-TV, The Daily Star, Radio Foorti and Dhaka Tribune will be promotional partners of the three-day expo.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith is expected to inaugurate the exposition while Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed along with State Minister for Finance and Planning MA Mannan will remain present as special guests.
