Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan yesterday said necessary security measures have been taken for peaceful holding of Biswa Ijtema scheduled to begin on January 13, reports UNB from Gazipur. We don't have any threat from any group and we think that everything is under control and we are always prepared and working after keeping everything in our mind, said the Minister. The Home Minister came up with remarks while talking to the reporters after a view-exchange meeting over the final preparation of Biswa Ijtema on the bank of the Turag River in Tongi here yesterday. Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, Awami League MP from Gazipur-2 constituency Zahid Ahsan Russel, Superintendent of Gazipur Police Harun-or-Rashid and officiasl concerned spoke among others.
