Couple strangled

Natore: A couple was strangulated to death by unidentified criminals at Shaol village in Singra upazila early yesterday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Noni Gopal Kundu, 70, a freedom fighter and a resident of the village, and his wife Chitra Rani Kundu, 62.
Police said criminals might have strangled them in their house in the early morning.
Nasir Uddin, officer-in-charge of Singra police station, confirmed the incident.
