Teenager beaten dead in capital

An alleged juvenile delinquent was beaten to death by his rivals in the city's Uttara area yesterday over establishing supremacy, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Adnan, 15. Further details were not available immediately. Deputy Commissioner (Uttara) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Bidhan Tripura said Adnan came under attack by members of 'Anik Group' in Uttara Sector-13 around 6:30pm.
The attackers beat Adnan with hockey sticks indiscriminately, leaving him injured.
