Former Science and ICT Minister Mostafa Faruk Mohammad was laid to eternal rest at Martyred Intellectuals Graveyard in the capital yesterday, reports UNB. He was buried after Asr prayers, said Jessore Jhikargachha municipal Awami League general secretary Ilias Hossain. Earlier, his 2nd namaz-e-janaza was held at BM High School in Jhikargachha after his body was brought here from the capital around 12 pm. Meanwhile, Mostafa Faruk's qulkhawani will be held at his Baridhara residence in the capital today. Mostafa Faruk, also a former ambassador and former Awami League MP from Jessore-2 constituency, died at United Hospital in the capital on Wednesday at the age of 74. Mostaf Faruk served as the Science and ICT Minister during the previous term of the AL government.
