Claiming that a vested quarter is hatching conspiracies abroad against the government, Law Minister Anisul Huq has urged all to remain alert about them, reports UNB. “Being jealous of Bangladesh's continued development and progress, a vested quarter is hatching conspiracies abroad against the government as they failed to oust it through their subversive activities,” he said.
The minister was addressing as the chief guest a rally on the Kasba upazila parishad market premises in Brahmanbaria on Thursday, marking the completion of present government's three years in office, said a PID handout yesterday.
Local Awami League arranged the rally. Anisul said although World Bank stopped financing the Padma Bridge due to various conspiracies, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has begun the construction work with the own found.
