Four killed in Mymensingh road crash

Four people, including a woman and a child, were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in front of the municipality office in Ishwarganj upazila yesterday noon.

The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.
Officer-in-charge of Ishwarganj Police Station Badrul Alam Khan said the accident took place when a truck collided head-on with the auto-rickshaw in the area around 12:00pm, leaving four people dead on the spot and two injured.
The injured were whisked off to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
