Wife suspect in man�s killing

A man was killed on Saturday night at village Old Modnadanga in Sadar upazila of the district. Police, on suspicion, held his wife Selina Khatun, 36, in this connection.
The deceased -- Azizur Rahman, hailing from village Purton  Modnadanga in the same upazila, was an auto-rickshaw driver.
According to police and locals, the married life of the couple was not going well. Azizur Rahman always doubted his wife having extra marital affairs with her neighbours.  To get rid of frequent brawls Selina went to her father’s house at Koshba village in Gangni upazila of the district on the 1st Ramzan.
After a compromise reached between the two families, Selina returned to her husband’s house on Saturday. On the same day, neighbours rushed to the house hearing the creams of Aziz and found him lying on a pool of blood.
