Drug peddler held with 6,000 Yaba tablets

Police arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 6,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from Jorabakultala area in Sadar upazila on Friday night.

The arrestee was identified as Sohel Rana alias Mobin, 33, a resident of the area.
Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Majharul Islam said tipped off, a team of police conducted a raid at the house of Rana and arrested him while he was selling Yaba tablets at about 9.30pm.
The law enforcers also recovered 6,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from his possession. 
A case was filed in this connection.
