2 burnt in colony fire

A teenager and a minor boy sustained burn injuries as a fire broke out at a house of Harijan Colony in Swarnakhola Road area of the district town on Friday night.
 The injured were identified as Sunil Harijan, 16, son of Rabi Harijan, and Bir Harijan, 3, son of Bidhan Harijan.
Sub-inspector of Sadar Model Police Station Prahlad said the fire erupted at the colony at about 7:45pm.
 On information, firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after frantic efforts.
The firefighters also rescued the burn injured Sunil and Bir and sent them to Chandpur General Hospital. The injured were later referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
 The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately, the SI added.
