Bangladesh national women booters moved into the semi-final in the ongoing SAFF Women Football championship as the Group B champions after halting the host India by 0-0 at the Kanchenjanga Stadium in Shiliguri, India.
After the goalless draw, Bangladesh, who thrashed Afghanistan in their opening match by 6-0 emerged the group champions by goal difference, as India defeated Afghanistan by 5-1.
Bangladesh needed a draw in the match against India to be group champions and made it success when in the overall six meeting before this match India won all the matches.
Bangladesh will face Maldives in the semi-final tomorrow while India will take on Nepal.
