Nine popular singers are set to perform on stage the theme song for the ‘Bangladesh Tea Expo-2017’ that is scheduled to be held on January 12, 13 and 14 in the capital’s Basundhara International Convention Centre.
Singer Partha Barua, Bappa Majumder, Fahmida Nabi, Pervez,Kona, Salma, Elita Karim, D Rockstar Shuvo, Linkon (Artcell) will lend their voice for the song written by Rashid Khan.
Riad Hasan has tuned the song and Partha Barua composed it for Bangladesh Tea Board.
Creato is at the event management house for the expo, whose chief executive officer Rashid Khan said that he was very much excited to be associated for the first time with such an event and feeling great.
“The main purpose for the expo is to promote Bangladeshi tea among the tea lovers both at home and abroad. Hopefully everyone would love the song. Already the song has hit the Facebook and YouTube,” he added.
During the three-day expo, eminent singers would present their songs every evening. At the same time, workers from the tea gardens in Bandarban, Dinajpur and Panchagarh would present their culture at the event.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed would inaugurate the Bangladesh Tea Expo 2017. The visitors at the expo would be able to enjoy all presentations at the programme through free registrations online. l
