Bibi Russell inaugurates PH Design Studio

Internationally acclaimed fashion designer Bibi Russell along with eminent photographer Chanchal Mahmud inaugurated a fashion house named PH Design Studio, owned by fashion designer Parveen Hussain. She attended the inaugural ceremony of the fashion house as the chief guest that took place on Friday in the capital’s Gulshan area.
Various other personalities from the fashion and beauty world of Bangladesh such as beauty expert Kaniz Almas Khan, Bibiana’s Lipi Khandakar, Women’s World’s Kona Alam and wife of Chanchal Mahmud Raina Mahmud Mitu, among others, were present at the event.
Due to devoting a considerable amount of time towards her profession, Bibi Russell spends most of the time abroad, and she rarely makes public appearance for programmes and is hardly seen on television shows. She has not been seen in any programmes for almost four years.
At the inauguration programme, Bibi Russell said, “I really admire the quality design works by Parveen Hussain in the saris and gowns and every design work is that of global standards. I fully believe that in the future, her designs will get further recognition and praise.”
Parveen Hussain, who started her design work in London in 2011, wants to establish a charitable fund through PH Design Studio. She also wants to reach out to the rural people. She shared her thoughts, “My main intention is not just earning profits, but to deliver quality products to the people, and use that money as funds to help people in the society. That is the prime intention.
Bibi Russell, who has not been appearing in any ramp shows since long time, said “Even though I wish I could appear in the ramp shows, I just cannot seem to find the time.”
A lot of well known models came into the limelight by appearing as ramp models with Bibi Russell and she played a pivotal part for them being recognized and flourishing in their profession.  
To note, Bibi Russell, after staying in the country for a few days, will now tour to Uzbekistan for her professional purposes and will spend Eid there.
