Rhyme fest held in Barisal

Barisal unit of Jatiya Kabita Parishad (JKP) organised rhyme festival (Chhara Utsav) 2016 at the auditorium of Jahanara Israel School in Barisal city on Wednesday night. 

The festival included discussion, cultural functions with recitation of limericks and rhymes, songs and dances based on rhymes. 
Principal Tapankar Chakraborty, eminent limerick writer and president of Barisal JKP, presided over and Shuvangkar Chakraborty conducted the programes of the festival. 
Poet Asad Chowdhury, Aslam Sani Aroop Talukdar, SM Shelly, Partha Sarathi, Mukul Das, Kajal Ghosh, Kowmudi Nargis, of Bangladesh, 
Deep Mukhopadhya of India participated in the festival, among others.
