Recently, the second China-South Asia Law Forum, organized with the theme of “Strengthening Law Governing Linkages and Building up the One Belt and One Road together” opened in Kunming. More than 200 representatives, including high-level officials from law circles, procurators, lawyers, legal workers and other experts from 14 countries joined the forum.
More than 30 speakers from China and countries of South and Southeast Asia carried out heated discussion across five topics. These included “Comparative Studies on the Constitution and Legal Systems of China and the Countries of South Asia”, “Legal Cooperation in Investment and Financing Across Basic Industries”, “Consensus and Cooperation in Trade Investment and Development”, “Policies and Laws Concerning Sustainable Development”, and “Trade Investment Dispute Settlement Mechanisms and Services”
