The government has formed a Taka 823 crore fund with the financial assistance of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) to provide loan to small and marginal farmers at low interest, reports BSS.
The loan would be disbursed through micro-credit financing agencies (NGOs), said an official of Bank and Financial Institutions Division.
