New Petrobangla chairman

Abul Mansur Md Faizullah has been appointed as the chairman of Bangladesh Oil, Gasand Mineral Corporation, widely known as Petrobangla.

Public Administration Ministry issued a circular in this regard yesterday. Prior to this, he was the additional secretary of Economic Relation Divisions (ERD). 
In his long career, he served many places around the country. He was a magistrate in Chittagong and also worked with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA.)  
An official of 1984 batch of the BCS cadre, Abul Mansur worked as the additional secretary at the economic relations division before his new job. 

He was born in Feni district.
The previous chairman of Petrobangla, Istiaq Ahmad, has been made environment and forests secretary.
