NATORE: A mobile court here on Tuesday fined a bakery and one Unani medicine factory Taka five lakh in Baraigram upazila of the district for preparing, possessing and selling foods and medicines in an unhygienic condition, reports BSS.
On a tip-off, the mobile court comprising a team of RAB-5 conducted drives in Bonpara and Garmati areas of the upazila and arrested Siddiqur Rahman, the owner of Al Zahra Food and Beverage Ltd and Sumaiya Tanvin Mow, the owner of Jeni Ayurvedic Laboratories Ltd.
Head of the mobile of court and Executive Magistrate and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Israt Farzana fined the bakery owner Tk four lakh and Unani medicine factory owner Tk one lakh for violating the existing laws.
