Old woman killed in road crash

SHARIATPUR: An old woman was killed and two others were injured in a road accident at Mollar Bazar in Jajira upazila of the district yesterday afternoon, reports BSS.
The deceased was identified as Achhia Begum, 80.
Police quoting local people said the accident occurred when a motorcycle  hit Achhia Begum in the area while she was crossing the road, leaving her dead on the spot. The motorcyclist and his wife were also injured.
The injured were admitted to Jajira upazila health complex.
