Students confine registrar

SYLHET: Students of Sylhet Engineering College yesterday confined its registrar and teachers of different departments to the administrative building, to press home their 12-point demand, reports UNB.
The students locked administrative building around 11am and staged demonstrations protesting different irregularities in the college.
The students alleged that the college authorities had taken various fees from them but did not provide any facilities and take any initiative for the development of the college.
The condition of residential halls is poor and there is no security guard in the halls, they alleged.
