Kyrgyzstan start on winning note

Bangladesh have strongly placed to finish among top two teams in the Bangabandhu Asian Men’s Senior Central Zone Volleyball Championship. The home team thrashed Nepal by straight 3-0 sets in their second win at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in the capital yesterday. Bangladesh took a little over an hour to outplay Nepal 25-22, 25-20, 25-23 to post their second win in as matches. Earlier they defeated Afghanistan in their first match on Thursday.
The hosts will now take on Kyrgyzstan in their third robin league match tomorrow at 4pm. If Bangladesh can beat Kyrgyzstan. They will become the first team to book a final berth.
With thunderous cheering and clapping all Bangladeshi spikers did their best to snatch the victory. Finally the spirited Kyrgyzstan clinched the fourth set at 25-22 to make a winning start in the five-nation tournament.
