Save Life Foundation and Autistic Foundation of Bangladesh have set up a stall at the Annual Ananda Mela-2016 at the Officers' Club in the capital to provide free medical check up on kidney disease and autism, reports BSS. "We are providing free medical checkup on kidney disease and autism at our stall at the three-day Ananda Mela along with raising awareness among the people on the disease," Dr Kazi Minhajul Abedin, Chairman of Autistic Foundation of Bangladesh told BSS.
Save Life Foundation is launching free medical checkup as there are nearly two crore kidney patients in the country.
Chairman of the foundation Dr Sohely Ahmed Sweety said, "As part of our awareness campaign, we are advocating people about kidney ailment."
The three-day Ananda Mela began yesetrday at the Officers' Club Dhaka. The mela will remain open from 10am to 10pm every day.
