Siblings perform together in memory of father today
Samina Chowdhury, Fahmida Nabi, Pancham Nabi and Tanzida Nabi.

Legendary singer Mahmudun Nabi was born and died in this month of December. Leaving behind countless fans and followers, he passed away on December 20 in 1990. But his songs and music-related works made him unforgettable and people of various age groups still remember him, listen to his songs and consider him one of their own. Even, the new generation listeners also like his wonderful songs and get fascinated with his amazing works. Most notably, all four children of Mahmudun Nabi made a firm position in the music world and won the hearts of the audiences with their musical journey.
On the occasion of the 26th death anniversary of singer Mahudun Nabi, his four children--Fahmida Nabi, Samina Chowdhury, Tanzida Nabi and Pancham Nabi--will attend a programme titled ‘Surer Ayna’ at 5:45pm on Banglavision today. They will perform music and recall sweet memories of their father in the show.
Besides, four siblings will also perform live in a show at 11:45pm on Desh TV on the same day.
Fahmida Nabi said in this regard,  “This is really a wonderful feeling that the younger generation is listening to my father’s songs. Not only this, many of the artistes are performing my father’s songs on the stage with immense interest. Our father will live in this way for decades. Being children of a father like him, we feel really proud. I hope the audience will like both the shows today.”
Samina Chowdhury said, “Channel i, Banglavision and Desh TV—these three channels air different types of programmes centring our father every year with their own interest. We are really grateful to these three channels. We request the audience to watch today’s shows.” l
