One killed in road accident

A motorbike rider was killed as a bus hit his bike at Vatoi Bazaar area on the Jhenaidah-Kushtia highway in Sadar upazila yesterday noon.
The deceased was identified as Bacchu, 50, son of late Abdul Latif, a resident of Kulchara village under Shoilkupa upazila of the district.
Police said the accident occurred when a bus hit the motorbike in the area from opposite direction, leaving the bike rider Bacchu dead on the spot and another injured.
The injured was sent to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital.
