Three held with arms in Chandpur

Police arrested three young men along with one foreign pistol and two rounds of bullets from Khajuria Beribandh area in Matlab (North) upazila on
Monday.The arrestees were identified as Masun Hossain, 22, M Riad, 18, and Himel, 18, all residents of the area.
Officer-in-charge of Matlab (North) Police Station Alamgir Hossain said tipped off, a team of the law enforcers conducted a drive in the area and arrested the trio while they were staying there in the afternoon.The law enforcers also recovered one foreign pistol and two rounds of bullets from their possession.A case was filed against them in this connection, the OC added.
