Kuwait armed forces team meets Air Chief
An eight-member delegation of Kuwait Armed Forces led by Maj Gen A. W. A. OMAIRI called on Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar at Air Headquarters in the capital yesterday.
They exchanged greetings and discussed different issues related to bi-lateral interests during the meeting, a press release of ISPR said. It is expected that the visit of the high officials of Kuwait Armed Forces will play an important role for strengthening the existing friendly relationship between Bangladesh and Kuwait. The delegation will also visit different units of Bangladesh Air Force.
Food processing factory fined
A mobile court in an anti-adulteration drive on Monday penalised a food processing factory Tk 2 lakh for allegedly producing and distributing substandard products and violating rules,.
The mobile court of the Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI), led by executive director of Dhaka Zila Parishad Kazi Hafizul Amin, conducted the drive at the capitals Dilkusha commercial area in the morning and found Boishakhi Agro Food Product Limited producing low-quality products.
Convention on sustainable development today
ADD International Bangladesh Programme is organising a National Convention on Sustainable Development Goals and Disability Rights today at 1am in BRAC Centre, 75, Mohakhali, Dhaka, says a press realse. Deputy Speaker of Bangladesh Parliament Advocate Md Fazle Rabbi Miah, MP will grace the National Convention as the chief guest.
