Cox’s Bazar: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members sent back a boat carrying 15-20 Rohingyas to Myanmar following their attempt to intrude into the Bangladesh territory though the Naf River early yesterday, reports UNB.
Major Abu Russel Siddique, acting commanding officer of Teknaf BGB-2 Battalion, said some 15-20 Rohingyas, including women and children, boarding a boat were trying to enter the country crossing the river through Khoaing point of Teknaf upazila early in the morning.
Later, the BGB team obstructed the Rohingyas and pushed back them to Myanmar, he said.
