Maldives first team to reach Dhaka

The Maldives team are the first to reach Dhaka to participate in the Bangabandhu  Asian Senior Men’s Volleyball Championship. The five nationals tournament will be held at Suhrawardy International Indoor Stadium in the capital from December 22 to 28.

The participating teams are: Afghanistan, Nepal, Maldives, Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh. The championship will be held on a round robin league system.
In fact this is a FIVB (Asian Volleyball Federation) Tournament. The FIVB divided all Asian countries in six zones.
