JP extends support to Ivy in NCC polls
The main opposition in parliament, Jatiya Party, yesterday extended its support to the ruling Awami League nominated mayoral candidate Selina Hayat Ivy in Narayanganj City Corporation polls.JP Secretary General Ruhul Amin Hawlader told media regarding this support. We have not nominated anyone to contest the Narayanganj City Corporation polls. So, as part of the party decision, we have extended our support to Ivy, the Jatiya Party leader said. The election to Narayanganj City Corporation is scheduled to be held on December 22.
