Shahed Reza Dhaka Club president

The annual general meeting and election of the executive committee of Dhaka Club Limited was held on Saturday at the club’s auditorium. Syed Shahed Reza, former ambassador was elected uncontested as the president of Dhaka Club for the year 2016-2017, says a press release. 
This would be his 2nd tenure as the president.
Syed Shahed Reza is the Managing Director of SMP Trading Co. He is the Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association and also a renowned sports organiser of the country.
A 10 (Ten) member executive committee was also elected for the year 2016-2017. They are: Altamash Kabir, Waqar Ahmad Choudhury, Prof Jahangir Chowdhury, Rahel Ahmed, Mohd Abdus Salim, Mrs Nawzia Islam (Rasha), HM Murshed, Monir Ahmad, Shahidul Haq Sikder (Litu) and Md Rezaul Karim.
