Woman found dead in Ctg

CHITTAGONG: Police recovered the hanging body of a readymade garment worker from a cotton godown in city's Mohammadpur area under Panchlaish Thana yesterday, reports BSS.
The deceased was identified as Lipi Akhtar, 23, wife of Joy Mahmud, hailed from Nasirnagar area under Brahmanbaria district.
Police said Lipi, a sewing operator at Base Textiles, lived with her husband's sister in city's Mohammadpur area as her husband lives in the Maldives. Lipi went out of her residence while talking to her husband over mobile phone but did not return on Sunday night.
Later, her family members found her hanging body inside a cotton godown and informed the police, AC Jahangir Alam said.
