‘Gohin Baluchor’ starts journey

The wait is over as Badrul Anam Soud’s maiden film ‘Gohin Baluchor’ has started its journey through a formal launching ceremony at a city restaurant on Saturday evening.  In the presence of his longtime colleagues and all time well-wishers, Soud began the journey of his debut film and also sought cooperation from everyone. DhakaLive has news that as a part of the programme, Soud introduced the cast and crew of the film to the invited guests and also discussed about the film in details at the Saturday’s event. Anchored by Naziba Bashar, seasoned actress Suborna Mustafa, also wife of Badrul Anam Soud, played a pivotal role to make the programme successful.  
At the beginning of the programme, Suborna Mustafa said, “One truth has become prominent to me during the nine years of my life with Soud, his only dream was to make a movie. Now the auspicious moment of fulfilling that has arrived. Felicitations for that as a co-artiste and co-fighter I would like to tell you that ‘Gohin Baluchor’ is not yours movie alone. Those who are present here it is their film too, also that of the cinegoers.”
“I would hope that the way you have left us spellbound with your dramas, you will do the same with your film ‘Gohin Baluchor”, the noted film, TV and stage personality added.
Speaking on the occasion, Badrul Alam Soud said, “I am really nervous at this auspicious moment in my life,”
“Since 2000, myself, Shihab Shahin, Animesh Aiche, Golam Sohrab Dodul, Rahmatulla Tuhin, Amlan Biswas and few others began working together. Since then, we are all together. So the auspicious beginning of a chapter of realising our dream to make a movie begins today. Please pray for us; so that, we could make the movie in a wonderful manner,” Soud said.
After delivering his speech, Soud introduced three new faces, who have been included in his film, to the guests; they are Tanveer, Moon and Neela. Among others, Raisul Islam Asad, Suborna Mustafa, Afroza Banu, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shahadat Hossain, Bannya Mirza and Rumana Khan will act in the film.
Supported by a government grant and backed by his well wishers, including his better half Suborna Mustafa, Soud is directing the film with his own story, script and dialogue.
To note, Soud is planning to start the shooting of the film outside Dhaka from December 22.
