Two arrested with heroin

JESSORE: Police arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 500 grams contraband heroin from Gazipara area under Sharsha upazila of the district yesterday morning, reports BSS. The arrested were Shahrier Mahmud alias Rasel, 30, of Ghoshpara area and Rajib Hossain alias Akash, 28, resident of Kazipara area of the upazila. On a tip-off, a team of police conducted a raid in the area at about 7 am and arrested the duo with the heroin, said Baghachra Police Camp In-Charge Sub-Inspector Habibur Rahman. A case was filed with Sharsha Police Station in this connection.
