SAVAR: Police rescued a female madrasah student from Singair bus stand area in Manikganj district after a month and three days of her abduction from Savar Bazar bus stand area, reports UNB.
The rescued girl is a resident of Goladanga Basta area in Singair upazila and student of a local madrasa.
Shamsul Haque Sumon, sub-inspector of Savar Model Police Station, said a gang of miscreants abducted Ayesha when she came to the bus stand area with her mother on November 16.
On secret information, a team of police conducted a drive in the area in the morning and rescued her.
However, police could not arrest abductors.
Ayesha was admitted at one stop crisis centre of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
A case was filed with the police station in this connection.
