Couple ‘commits suicide’ in capital

A married couple apparently committed suicide at a house in the city’s Mirpur area yesterday, reports UNB. The deceased were identified as Motahar, 40, and his wife Sheuli, 30, of Dakhkhin Bishil area in Mirpur. Sub-inspector of Darus Salam Police Station Masudur Rahman said on information, a team of the police station rushed to the spot in the evening and found the bodies of the couple hanging from a ceiling fan in one of the rooms.
