A team led by Parliament Member of Batiaghata-Dakope constituency Panchanon Kumar Biswas yesterday visited the proposed site of Bangabandhu Echo Park here, reports BSS from Khulna. Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md. Abdus Samad, Khulna Metropolitan Police Commissioner(KMP) Nibash Chandra Majhi, Khulna Deputy Commissioner Nazmul Ahsan, Batiaghata Upazila Chairman Ashraful Alam Khan, executive engineers of Water Development Board, Local Government Engineering Department(LGED) and Public and Works Division(PWD), different government officials, journalists, among others, were present. Later, a view-exchange meeting was held near the Kazibacha river between local people and the team members. Speaking briefly on the occasion, Panchanan Biswas, MP, said local people will get jobs after completing the Bangabandhu Echo Park. He said trade, business and economic activities would be enhanced centering the park. The echo park on 35.6 acres of khas land under Rupsha upazila in Khulna would be constructed by January 2018, said Khulna divisional commissioner Md. Abdus Samad.
