Three militants, including the mastermind of Gulshan Holey Artisan café attack Tamim Chowdhury, were buried at Jurain graveyard in the capital yesterday, reports UNB. The bodies were buried in the afternoon after Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), a specialisaed unit of Bangladesh Police, had handed over the mortal remains to charity organisation Anjuman Mufidul Islam from Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue.
Inspector Alamgir of PBI formally handed over the three bodies to Ruhul Amin, a duty officer of Anjuman Mufidul Islam, around 2:30pm. “We received the three bodies as unclaimed bodies,” said Ruhul Amin at the DMCH morgue. Later, the three bodies were buried at the Jurain graveyard after Asar prayers.
